Today, my car was splashed with mud as I was driving down the road. The problem was that there were construction workers or rather utility workers who were working on digging up holes in the ground. And somehow they were getting mud all over the street. That was very annoying. Not at all fun like an ozone generator. I certainly wish that those workers would be a little more conscientious. But, maybe it was not their fault because they cannot cover all of their basis. And perhaps they cannot stop mud from getting on the road when they do that kind of work.

You know, during the Olympics I actually laughed to discover that there were Equestrian events. I said to my husband, “How can this be considered a sport? The horse does all the work!” Well, I’m officially changing my tune. We took a vacation to California, and went on a lovely 5 mile ride on horseback. It was the first time I have ever been on a horse. I can’t begin to explain how I ache. My hips, my thighs, my back are all hurting. It really is hard on the body!
