We really hate the side effects of the medication that my daughter is on for her seizures, and so does she. We are hoping that we can find a way to lessen her reliance on it so she doesn’t have to deal with them. We have heard that there is a diet that can make seizures in children less likely to happen, so we are trying to find out more about it. We are hoping that it will be something that my daughter will be able to follow. We think if we tell her that it will make her feel better she might be willing to try.

It happens every night. I get home late from work, the kids are hungery, and my husband is 15 minutes away from getting home. I would love to have an easy dinner that I can put together and have on the table for when he gets home. Then we could actually sit down as a family and eat together. I am listening to my friend as she lectures on me. I guess that is just how things should be. In grade school we learned that it was a long way to Tipperary but I never had any idea where it was.  I just knew that it was a fun song to sing.  This year we will be making that long trip to enjoy the Terryglass Arts Festival.  We have chosen it because the tourism ireland website recommended this festival as something for the entire family.  We like the arts,  we like dance, and we like music.  This,  by all accounts,  will be a fun way to actually gain a hands on experience of our own Irish heritage.  That and I will finally get to Tipperary.

I was just telling my exmormon friend how I had to go to Urgent Care last night because it was obvious I had developed an ear infection. Last year I had the worst one of my life and it progressed very quickly. I wasn’t about to suffer all night and delay getting the antibiotics in my system. Last time it got so bad, I couldn’t chew, so I didn’t eat for three days. My exmormon friend brought us the most delicious meal that was soft enough for me to eat without complete chews. I hardly slept last night, but at least I can still eat right now.
