Blocking IP Addresses To Fight Spam

It amazes me how many people use Hyip Forums to spam their messages. I always do an IP check, especially where posts look the same, and spambots look as though they are being used. Earlier today I caught some spam which belonged to a particular IP address. I checked the IP and found over 100 usernames, all spammers, on that IP address. Shortening the number string showed up even more usernames. So, naturally, I’ve banned that address, so that should take up quite a few spammers up into the net, and prevent any new usernames on that IP from registering in the future.
