Sound proof party wall

I moved into a new apartment recently and the noise from the neighbors has been awful! I spoke with the building manager but it has not made much difference. They still continue with the noise at all hours. I looked at our common wall and it’s only 1 stud thick! A decent party wall would be 2 studs thick. Not only is this awful for fire retardation, it does nothing to reduce noise. When my lease is up there is no way I will stay here. I am already looking at other apartments and this time asking about how thick the common walls are.
