When my husband retired we both had to seriously review our expenditure and reign in our spending. Our income had literally halved over night and while we could afford to live, money for treats and holidays was practically non-existent. As part of our finance review we sat down and went through every single bill and worked out what we could save on and what we couldn’t. The biggest surprise was actually our car insurance, where we were able to save over hundred euros on our policy. All we did was a bit of surfing on the internet and then followed up with a few calls to the best insurers. It just goes to show that shopping around really does pay when it comes to finding a better deal and saving a bit of money. I might now even have enough money for a little treat!

Amazing Chrysler
June 18th, 2009 — Autos
I really love the brand new Chrysler Sebring as it is both sporty, sleek and massively spacious. It has proved to be an awesome purchase that truly belies the extremely small price that I paid for it.
Chrysler have yet to massive take off in this country, so if you buy relatively soon then you can be considered to own one of the truly individual cars on the Brisitsh roads.
All I know is that when I am driving around in my amazing Chrysler Sebring, I am assured to receive hundreds of envious looks from both other drivers and pedestrians.
Volkswagen Dealer
June 17th, 2009 — Autos
It is a common given that VW produce some of the classiest and well built cars in the entire automotive industry. This reputation has been garnered through Volkswagen’s peerless approach to design and engineering, which consistently makes their cars a joy to own and drive.
I have been the proud owner of a few VW Golf models over they years and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who takes their driving a little more seriously than going from A to B and then C at the weekends. Volkswagen cars are definitely ‘driver’s’ cars. They are definitely not for people who just drive for convenience.
My Garmin Forerunner Heart Monitor
June 14th, 2009 — Autos
When I was younger and would go out for a run I never worried about things like heart rate. I would just run and then come back to my car to cool down and go home. Now that I am nearly 70 I am starting to have concerns about my heart. To put my mind at ease, if not my heart, I now wear a garmin forerunner 305 gps. It has a comfortable chest strap that continually monitors my heart so that I can now modify my running pace to keep my heart within the limits that make my doctor happy.
Police like ANPRS
June 11th, 2009 — Autos
Police forces around the country are investing heavily in ANPRS equipment and they are finding great success using the equipment. Originally introduced to catch uninsured drivers it has been found that they also find mis spaced personalised number plates, travelling criminals, drug users and dealers, as well as various other motoring offences. Once a car has been stopped due to the ANPRS equipment flagging the car as of interest to the police, it can be checked over by experts for other things such as drugs or vehicle defects. Unless the driver is confident the car is clean he should not invite stoppage through dodgy number plates.
Looking For Automotive Repair Indianapolis
June 9th, 2009 — Autos
I had no idea it would be so hard to find a mechanic to work on my car when i made the decision to move from my home town. I have been going to the same mechanic since I was old enough to drive a car, the same one my father used. I moved to Indianapolis two months ago and am finally settled into my new house but am still looking for automotive repair Indianapolis that I trust as much as my old repair shop. Once I get to know more people where I work I can start asking for recommendations.
VW Polo Offers
June 7th, 2009 — Autos
What strikes you most when you see a brand new VW Polo drive past you in the street? To me it is the understated beauty and class of the vehicle that turns heads. I have always been a fan of the VW Polo as it is very much the ‘mature’ driver’s vehicle, where as some other small hatchbacks can seem flimsy and juvenile by comparison.
For me the new VW Polo will always represent the best quality for money in terms of the small hatchback market, this judgment is purely based on the immense driveability of the Polo which puts it streets ahead.
Getting to know more about used cars by owner online
June 4th, 2009 — Autos
Just checking out a picture of a car online isn’t enough to know if the car is really good. Some of the worst cars can look the best in pictures. When you are dealing with used cars by owner online you need to take the time out to check the car physically. Checking the car physically will help you get a better fell of the car. Checking its engine, body, and other necessary areas are imperative and something that you won’t be able to make out in a picture. A picture is only good enough for you to get an idea of what to expect.
Car insurance
June 2nd, 2009 — Autos
Applying for Car Loans can be stressful and can cost a lot of money. You can get a car loans guide online, or from your financial institution. Most people take out a loan to pay for the vehicle but forget about extra things like car insurance. Car insurance is an important part of owning a vehicle. You need insurance to make sure that you are covered if anything happens to you or your car. Otherwise you will be paying a loan for nothing. Insurance is expensive so you need to factor that into car ownership when you apply for a car loan. You should also remember to include road worthy if you need it and registration as they are also a must have for owning a car.
Companies Like Aptera Are A Must
June 2nd, 2009 — Autos
For me companies like Aptera are a must as the car production wagon grinds to a halt. All the big companies have been quite happy to just keep on churning out the same gas guzzlers year after year with no intention of changing. In the UK and other European countries the government have started to increase the road tax on the higher end of the market. However obviously that has slowed down with the present credit crunch. Aptera Motors and those like them can really have a twofold positive effect. Firstly, change the way we look at making and running our cars and secondly boost a flagging economy.
