ADHD Often Needs Drugs, But New Options are Arising

No matter how you look at it, hyperactivity deficit disorder (ADHD) is a primary cause of concern and stress for millions of children and parents alike. The symptoms of ADHD: tiredness, lack of focus, aggressiveness, and oftentimes difficulty in learning, are frustrating at best. For many years, the use of drugs to treat ADHD has been the primary, first line of defense. Most of these drugs, such as: Concerta, Ritalin, and Adderall are clinically described as stimulants and quite often, tough to dose properly after initial diagnosis. Many studies are now being done to see the effects of other, non-drug treatments for their overall long-lasting effects.
