Not all employer health insurance plans cover dental care, and the ones that do may not be very convenient. For example, our health insurance covers dental care, but the dental coverage incurs its own separate, yearly deductible. A better idea might be to just go with a good discount dental care plan that is not insurance. The cost for this type of plan will normally range between about $80 and $100 per year, which averages out to roughly $7 or $8 a month. This is likely a better deal than what you may be paying now in premiums and deductibles for dental insurance, and is definitely better than no dental plan at all.
