I took a crack at doing my own front yard landscape design, but then it turned out that half of the plants that I had chosen really were not very suitable for my area. I tried to keep them alive, but they did not even make it through one season before even the survivors were looking pretty awful. From now on, I plan to hire professionals rather than try to pull off something this complicated without getting any outside help.
