Bees, bees and more bees

It’s all about bees at the moment, isn’t it? The plight of the honeybees is soooooo sad. People keep going on about what it will mean for us if we run out of honey bees – the crops that won’t get pollinated, and the people that will suffer – but even if you don’t take that into account the world will be a poorer place without bees. Their buzzy drone on summer days is something to look forward too, and we really need to make sure that it continues.

Which is why I’m always impressed to run across people who are blogging about bees, or signing petitions or planting bee-friendly plants and doing whatever they can to save our bees.
