Magnetarc welding

The magnetarc welding process is one of those innovative technologies that are truly making work easier. Among the many welding processes the magnetarc process is effective and suitable for different welding processes. The process involves use of pressure using an arch that is usually moved magnetically under a kind of gas known as shielding gas. The magnetarc welding process is mostly used to join hollow sections (two), the wall thickness of the hollow sections should be between 0.7 and 10mm. Electrically conductive materials such alloy steels, malleable cast iron, cast steel and carbon steel are used. The above materials can be joined by the process.
