The major guitar scales that I’m learning

Three months ago I decided that I wanted to learn how to play the guitar. When I was in high school I had started to learn the major guitar scales; however I didn’t have enough money to continue my lessons. I’m thirty two years old and am now in a position to pay for my lessons if I want to learn how to play. I had found my current guitar teacher through some online yellow pages. By the end of the year I want to be good enough to start playing at my favorite coffee house. The coffee house has a small stage where people perform.
