There are many reasons to want to find birth records and other legal documents. Some of those border on sleaze or unlawful activities that I will not go into. I find an important reason is for that of genealogy and family heritage. My husband and his brother are not as interested as my sister-in-law and I are because of the genealogy aspects we want to pass on to our future generations.
